1993
AACCOS founded by the Kalasho Family
American Arab Chaldean Community Outreach Services (AACCOS) opens its doors in Detroit and becomes a beacon of hope for newcomers resettling in the United States. This would later become INVEST (International Network for Vocational Educational Skills Training) which today is Kalasho Education and Youth Services.
1995
Kalasho Family Expands Education
The pivotal year when the Kalasho family extended their educational reach, focusing on providing quality education and opportunities to underserved areas.
1996
Clinton Expands Educational Opportunities
Recognizing the year when educational initiatives received a significant boost, with contributions from the Clinton administration to broaden learning prospects.
Kalasho in Washington with James Zogby: Arab American Institute

The Founding of INVEST
The year Kalasho Education and Youth Services was founded. Originally named International Network for Vocational Educational Skills Training (INVEST), the non-profit was established to provide complimentary job training and workforce development for eager participants.
2002
Kalasho Sports Academy
We harness the transformative power of sports to shape character, nurture community bonds, and promote personal development. Specializing in soccer, we offer a comprehensive program that caters to students with a deep passion for the game and a desire to excel.
2003
Education Advisory Board
Showcasing the establishment of an Education Advisory Board to guide and uplift the organization's educational strategies and outcomes.
2008
INVEST schools founded in Partnership with Hazel Park Schools
INVEST is a Michigan-based non-profit dedicated to education preservation and community coalition building, well-known for serving ethnic and less-privileged groups through various educational programs and year-round charitable activities.
2010
INVEST Expands & Adds Another Center

INVEST Expands Services
INVEST expands its reach to serve 8 additional communities, bringing its unique educational model and support services to a broader range of students in need.
2015
Kalasho Family Founded KEYS
Kalasho Family Founded KEYS Grace Academy (First Assyrian-Chaldean Centered Charter in the Nation) Managed by Kalasho Empowerment of Young Scholars.
2016
KEYS Academies Continues to Grow
KEYS Academies grow and expand services to all newcomers from the Middle East, Meso and South America and Europe.
2017
Kalasho Education & Youth Services partners with CODE Legal Aid
Kalasho Education & Youth Services partners with CODE legal aid and expands its resettlement and legal aid advocacy.
Code Legal aid co-counsels with the ACLU to halt Iraqi deportations.
2018
Mental Health
Kalasho Educational and Youth Services expands its mission to add metal health and therapy.
2019
KEYS Food Service Expands
KEYS Food Service (KEYS Academy) becomes food service authority for dozens of institutions all across Michigan in hopes to enhance child nutrition and make school food better and healthier!
2024
INVEST Partners with SME Foundation
INVEST partners with SME Foundation to launch the INVEST School of Engineering with SME Prime.
MINDgarden Philosophy Created
Kalasho Education and Youth Services breaks ground on State of the Art Mental Health Center.
