Founded in 2001, Kalasho Education & Youth Services is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting youth and families by offering comprehensive services that promote stability, opportunity, and a deep sense of belonging. Services include: Family Stabilization & Literacy Support, Health Access & Wellness, Employment & Entrepreneurial Skills, Financial Literacy & Economic Empowerment, and Legal & Advocacy Aid.

WHO WE ARE
For over two decades, Kalasho Education & Youth Services has been a family-driven mission, deeply committed to education, outreach, and community service across Michigan. From our humble beginnings, we have grown to serve and partner with 27 institutions and organizations, assisting over 30,000 New Americans and low-income families from more than 25 countries in their journey to integrate and thrive in new communities.
Since 2021, we have focused our efforts on providing crucial support to New Americans from war-torn countries. In providing guidance, counseling, and now behavioral health support, we are establishing a network to meet the needs of acclimating families, from adolescents to adults.
Today, our organization transforms the lives of over 6,000 people every single day. Through advocacy, education, workforce development, behavioral healthcare, and nutrition, we deliver comprehensive services that do more than meet needs - they unlock potential, drive opportunity, and empower communities to thrive.
